My niece once asked me "What would happen if we turn on the microwave but there's no soup inside?" My niece is a young diabetic patient whose staple diet is nuked spaghetti and special broth made for diabetics. This show of curiosity has led me to suspect that she had been tinkering with the oven for quite some time now. She could have probably detached the microwave door or plugged the appliance into the wrong socket, or worse, without a surge suppressor!

A child like her shouldn't be allowed to come near appliances that tend to cause electrical shock. That is, unless she's aware of the parts of the oven. The solution to this trouble is simple. Make sure that everyone using the microwave knows the oven parts as well as how to clean them inside and out. The oven also comes with accessories for cleaning the door, touchpad control, and other tiny parts of the appliance. It's essential that the child (or any other uninformed adult) knows how to operate the microwave.

So, let's go back to my niece's question: Can we actually destroy an oven by merely turning it on without nuking anything inside? Before I answered her, I had to bop her in the head. "Yes!" The insight is simple. The oven uses hi-freq sound waves to heat up the soup. If there's nothing to suck the heat, it will be reabsorbed by the walls of the oven and damage the magnetron. The magnetron is the internal antenna -- an extremely essential part of microwave ovens.

It's practical for a mother to replace the defective part of the microwave oven so she can use it again than to buy a brand new one, and throw away the old oven. If the microwave oven is not functioning that well, usually, mothers bring the appliance to repair shop, and change the faulty part with a new one. And since it is an economical idea, there are several appliance stores that offer microwave oven parts for replacements.
There are several stores online that sell microwave parts for consumers. One of the stores in the Internet is the PartStore, where you can buy all kinds of microwave parts. The store carries different microwave oven brands to provide all your needs in a microwave oven.
This online store has huge supplies of part and accessories replacements not only for microwave oven, but also for other modern home appliances. If you need to get a replacement for your projector bulb, you can drop by at PartStore to buy a new one. And if you need help for your shopping, call their online Customer Service, and present your buying concerns.

I hope you would not mind telling me what keeps your microwave oven odorless. I have already used several oven brands, but I still find the food odor stick on them. But, I also hope that you have already discovered the solution to the problem, because at long last, I already did.
Charcoal. No, it is not the type that we use in energy production. The charcoal I am talking about serves as a filter for food odors like those of fish and aromatic or flavorous recipes. I find using it really convenient, since it comes in a form of slab, well that is as far as I could describe it and slips at the back of the oven. Actually, the filter is already integrated in the oven, but over time, as it accumulate odors, it has to be replaced so as to sustain the the filtering process. Going back to the charcoal, I did not realize that using such devise could also lead me to the discovery of its use in other kitchen appliances. I have a new LG refrigerator, and the same problem I have encountered with it. You know, when the pasta, and saucy dishes, and grilled fish are all kept in the fridge, they produce a not so nice smell. But, when a friend of mine told me to put a piece of charcoal inside the fridge, the smell disappeared. So I guessed right that the charcoal filter in my oven works just like ordinary charcoals.

If we happen to have something that needs to be repaired in the house, we call on a contractor or a repairman. That may cost us some money more than we think. So, other people opt to just get the tools that they need and do the repairing themselves. This do-it-yourself system is becoming more and more prevalent in many households today.
This is also the principle behind the PartSelect Microwave Parts system. When you have a part that needs to be repaired or replaced in a microwave, you can just contact PartSelect online or through the phone. The company will be the one to look for the part. If you choose to transact online, you can enter the part number of the item, the brand, and then click Search.
On the other hand, if you decide on calling an agent, they will be the ones to tell you if they have the microwave oven part in stock. That way, you would know instantly the availability of the part and have it ordered immediately. Sounds great, right? At least, you would be ensured that you get the right part and your microwave will be fixed in no time.

Just like any other electronic kitchen appliances, the microwave oven is made up of dozens of wires and metallic spare parts that conduct electricity. Taking into consideration the numerous tiny equipments all intact inside the oven, we should be knowledgeable enough about the function and importance of each and every part. It is not enough that we keep the interior and exterior of the oven clean. We must also be ready to fix the oven when problems occur.
Let us just say that the oven suddenly stopped from heating. When this happens, some of us are inclined to throw the oven away; some keep on pushing the button or tapping the oven hoping that that may cause some luck and the oven resume in operation. Well, maybe the problem with the oven is its transformer. The transformer is responsible for the heating process in the oven.
Via the transformer, electricity is gathered until the minimum voltage is gained. As we turn the heat to a higher level, the transformer responds by gathering the necessary amount of electricity that will produce the needed heat. The transformer is a small device, but powerful. The reason why ovens start with low heat is that it gives the transformer enough time to recharge or start-up. For us users, we must not hurry the oven in cooking our food. We must not start the oven in the high temperature. This may harm the transformer and cause short circuit.

A microwave's door is the most important part of your microwave if you want your food cooked properly or more importantly, if you want to keep your home safe. But sometimes, our oven's door can get broken too. If you want to have this fixed, go online for microwave oven spare parts and ask your husband or a local repairman to repair it for you.
But if you want to be really sure, go to the manufacturer's center so they can fix it for you. A microwave oven door also regulates the microwave production in your oven as it stops the energy production when you open it.

By mere inspection, the size of the microwave suggests that the big parts are the most vital. In a reliable microwave, however, little parts do play big roles. In the case of the semiconductors, such notion is true. Basically, the semiconductors functions like miniature machines.
When a semiconductor is damaged, the functioning of the microwave becomes affected. Thus, the level of cooking decreases and the performance of the microwave dips. Although small in size, various semiconductors are big role players ensuring that microwaves are at their optimum level of performance.
A good microwave doesn't have to be really big. The important thing is that it is made of quality materials. A high-quality microwave is just one factor for cooking delicious meals.
